Standard Configurations

-How to choose which dock best suits your needs-

STEP ONE: Choose the width of your dock.

-We make docks in 3' or 4' standard widths. Sections can be made 8', 10', or 12' long.



You might consider a 4' wide dock if any of the following apply:
• Your dock will be used as a swim base for the kids and/or dogs in shallow water.
• Elderly or wheelchaired persons* will be using your dock on a regular basis.
• There will be accessories next to the walkway, like jet-ski hoists or ladders,etc.
• Your dock will often be used for entertaining guests.

 
A 3' wide dock would be better suited for the following applications:
• Moderate amounts of foot traffic are expected.
• 8' or 10' lengths offer a lighter weight alternative to a 4' wide dock.
• 12' lengths are the most cost effective solution for longer docks.
